VMware Infrastructure Management

Virtualization is a method of abstracting software and services from the hardware on which those systems run. There are different types of virtualization in computing, the most common being server virtualization, storage virtualization, and network virtualization. UNC Asheville leverages all three of these technologies to provide a highly available and reliable computing infrastructure for the campus community. VMware is one of the software tools ITS uses for server virtualization.

Windows Server Systems Administration
