Wireless Access
802.11g wireless access is currently available in the following areas:
- Ramsey Library
- Highsmith Union
- University Hall (partial)
- Reuter Center
- Phillips Hall
- Karpen Hall
- Robinson Hall
- Zeis Hall
- New Hall
- Zagier Hall
- Owen Hall
- Carmichael Hall and Humanities Lecture Hall
- Carol Belk Theater
- Weizenblatt Health Center
- Lipinsky Hall
- Residence Halls (Founders, Mills, So. Ridge, West Ridge, Governors) commons areas
- Willma Sherrill Health & Wellness (in final stages)
- Governors Village (Ashe, Gardner, Hoey, Moore, Scott) when officially open

Connecting to Wireless Network (UNC Asheville Faculty, staff and students)
You can connect to UNC Asheville Wireless with Wi-Fi capable computers, PDAs, and smartphones. Please see the instructions that came with your device for specifics on getting connected. Please note that ITS does not support personally owned equipment.
- Connect to the "RockyNet" wireless network.
- Where prompted by your web browser or device, provide your UNC Asheville Security Account username and password.*
Guest Wireless Services
- Connect to the "Guest" wireless network
- Campus guests must contact their sponsoring departments for guest login credentials.
* If you get an error message regarding an "SSL certificate", choose to continue.
